Dominar 250 New Colors & New Reduced Price

The new Bajaj Dominar 250 Dual Tone Edition has been launched in Racing Red-Matte Silver, Citrus Rush-Matte Silver, and Sparkling Black-Matte Silver color options.

Bajaj Auto has launched the Dominar 250 Dual Tone Edition in India. The new colors enhance the general aesthetics of the Dominar 250. The key design elements of the bike are now more pronounced, ensuring a pointy look and feel. Earlier the Dominar 250 was offered in just two color options. One among these, called Canyon Red, maybe a combination of red and black, the other was named Charcoal Black.

Apart from the new colors, Bajaj has also reduced the price of the Dominar 250. The price has been reduced to Rs 1.54 lakh from Rs 1.71 lakh in July. There has been a price-cutting of around 17k. The Dominar 250 Dual Tone Edition is out there at Rs 1,54,176 (ex-showroom, Noida).

Among the new color schemes, Racing Red with Matte Silver looks the foremost attractive and Sparkling Black/Matte Silver also catches our fancy. However, an equivalent can’t be said of the Citrus Rush/Matte Silver combination.

Apart from the color options, the wheels are painted white altogether three variants. within the earlier color theme, the wheels gave a blacked-out look. However, the planning of the alloy wheels remains as same.

Everything else within the new Bajaj Dominar 250 Dual Tone variant remains the same as before. The bike is 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 26.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The twin-spark, 4-stroke, 4-valve, DOHC, FI engine (27PS of maximum power and 23.5Nm of peak torque) is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch system.

The bike uses an integrated beam type perimeter frame with USD forks at the front and a multi-step adjustable mono-shock with Nitrox at the rear. Braking duty is completed by 300 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear. Other features include full-LED lighting, a digital console, and a 13-liter fuel tank. Dual-channel ABS is provided as standard. The Dominar 250 goes up against the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer.

The company believes that the arrival of those new color schemes will boost the sales of the Dominar 250 because the bike looks more ambitious.
